Peer Mentorship Program

Sometimes the most helpful support comes from someone who has walked the same path.

Our trained patient mentors are volunteers who have been through heart valve diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. They are matched with patients based on age, valve condition, and treatment type — so you can speak with someone whose experience closely mirrors your own.

Mentors are available to connect via phone, video call, or email. They can share their personal experience, answer questions about what recovery felt like, and offer encouragement — but they are not medical professionals and do not give clinical advice.

You can request a mentor by filling out a short form on this page or by calling our Patient Helpline. We will match you with a mentor within 5–7 business days and facilitate the introduction.
Is the Patient Assistance Program available in my country? +
The Patient Assistance Program is currently available in the United States. If you are outside the US, please contact your local CardioNova representative or call our helpline for information on support programs available in your region.
Can a caregiver join the HeartConnect Support Network? +
Absolutely. The HeartConnect Support Network welcomes patients, caregivers, and family members. There are dedicated groups specifically for caregivers where you can connect with others in similar roles.
